HOW TO: Insert Replacement Nibs

If you have been a fan of Neuland for some time, you will know that Neuland take sustainability very seriously and work tirelessly to create visual facilitation products that are better for the planet. Not only are all Neuland Markers in the range refillable, they also have Replacement Nibs. Perfect for keeping your forever marker in tip-top condition. They really will be the favourites in your toolkit.

Perhaps you are experiencing a marker that has been much loved and are seeing visible signs of a less precise nib. Perhaps the quality of your lettering, drawing, writing is not quite so sharp. Spot the need for a new nib then get ahead of the game. Switch old for new nibs before a big meeting or conversation and you will have full confidence in your kit. 

Here is a little help for when the time comes. Either invest in a Nibinator (love that product name) or you could use some old tweezers or pliers. Why use your home DIY tools when you can have a work nibinator! 

1. Remove the lid of the marker

2. Using a tool, take a strong hold of the old nib, taking care as the nib will be inky

3. Gently yet firmly wriggle the old nib out from the carcus of the pen

4. Completely remove the old nib

5. Take a fresh nib from the box and insert reversing the process. 

6. You have a fresh new nib.

Once the pure, white and fresh nib has been inserted into the marker, you will need to refresh the ink level with RefillOne ink. Check the corresponding colour on the casing of the pen with the bottle of ink and away you go. You may find this blog helpful: HOW TO: Refill a Neuland Marker.
